Del Rancho has been proud to serve our neighbors and communities since 1959. We got our start when James R. Holt decided to open a little burger joint in south Oklahoma City. He called his first place "The Ranch House". He served burgers and fries and then began experimenting and testing other menu items. Mr.Holt soon opened a second restaurant in Del City, OK and named it "Del Rancho".

Mr. Holt was somewhat of a perfectionist. His focus every day was all about food quality - that's what he preached and that's what he taught to others. He also realized that he needed to develop unique signature food items that his restaurants would be known for. Over time, he introduced the Steak Sandwich Supreme and the Old Fashioned Chicken Fried Steak Dinner Supreme. He also developed the recipes for our famous homemade cream gravy and onion rings that we still use today.

Mr. Holt began the franchise program and helped put many people into business. His vision, drive, and commitment to quality, along with the hard work of Del Rancho franchisees has allowed us to continue to serve Oklahoma and Texas for 50 years.

All locations offer lunch and dinner seven days a week. Some participating locations also serve breakfast. Downloadable menus are available for participating locations. Most locations can fax a To-Go Menu on request. For more information, please call the local Del Rancho in your area.
